Here's my set of "Hamaverse" comics.

In 1986 through 1989 Marvel published a companion title, also written by Larry Hama, called "G.I. Joe: Special Missions" that lasted for 28 issues.
Special Missions #1 - 8
Special Missions #1 - 8
Special Missions #9 - 16
Special Missions #17 - 24
Special Missions #25 - 28
All 28 "Special Missions" are currently available in the IDW "G.I. Joe: Special Missions" trade paperback series.
At the end of the year in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987 Marvel released G.I. Joe Yearbooks.

Here's the back-covers to the Yearbooks.
Here's trade paperbacks that collect the 155 issues of the Marvel run along with Special Missions and the Yearbooks:
In 1986 Marvel released the 4-part mini-series "Order of Battle." I don't have the original issues, but they were collected into a 1987 trade-paperback which I picked up. "Order of Battle" is a collection of character and vehicle bios.
In 2006 Larry Hama wrote a 3-part prequel story called "G.I. Joe: Declassified" that was published by DDP. Most of this takes place prior to G.I. Joe #1 and shows how most of the original Joes were hired for the job - great stuff!
In 2007 Larry Hama wrote a 7-issue "Storm Shadow" series published by DDP. It shows Storm Shadow having adventures on his own, away from the Joe/Cobra conflict.
